What are you going to do?We are looking for a Senior Product Designer to join our Maps Design team in Amsterdam. You will design tools that support map creation, data analysis, and data display. This is a great chance to work on big projects that support location services, routing, self-driving cars, and delivery logistics.
As a Senior Product Designer you will:
- Design complete experiences for geospatial tools used by engineers, mapping experts, and operations teams;
- Lead design work from research and ideas to final design and handoff to developers;
- Create easy-to-use and reliable tools for users with different skill levels;
- Work closely with engineers, product managers, data scientists, and design teams to build scalable solutions;
- Understand complex workflows and simplify them through design;
- Conduct user research to find problems and improve the tools;
- Design reusable components to keep the tools consistent and ready for future updates;
- Share your design ideas clearly in meetings and documents.
This role works closely with U.S. teams, so some meetings may be until 7:30 PM–8:00 PM (1–2 days a week). On those days, you can start and finish work later to balance your hours.
What do we offer?- Salary between €6,000 and €8,000 gross per month, based on a 40-hour contract;

What do we ask?- At least 5 years of experience designing products, especially internal tools or data-heavy platforms;
- Good knowledge of user-centered design for complex technical tasks;
- Expert in Figma and other design/prototyping tools;
- Portfolio showing great design work on tools or spatial interfaces;
- Knowledge of geospatial platforms, GIS, or location-based systems;
- Experience working with large design systems.
