For the European Medicines Agency we are looking for a Project/Programme Assistant to support the DARWIN EU® initiative!
What are you going to do?Role summary:
As Project/Programme Assistant, you will support the successful delivery of DARWIN EU®, working closely with the Project Manager and team. You’ll provide day-to-day project and contract management support, coordinate stakeholder engagement, and help track activities related to real-world evidence (RWE). This role offers a unique opportunity to contribute to one of EMA’s key strategic initiatives.
Standard role duties & responsibilities:
- Contribute to the development of the agency's delivery methodology and continuous improvement;
- Provide technical support in project planning, progress monitoring, and management reporting;
- Support business design and process improvement within the assigned area;
- Coordinate and support the project team to deliver objectives within time, budget, and resource constraints;
- Help monitor the project budget and maintain resource plans and forecasts;
- Organise meetings with relevant stakeholders, including logistics, agenda, minutes, and follow-up;
- Ensure quality compliance, coordinate documentation, and plan for maintenance and end-user support;
- Support formal acceptance and closure of deliverables as per contract provisions;
- Draft and format documents in line with EMA templates and style guide;
- Assist in preparing communications for project boards and governance.
Role specific duties & responsibilities:
- Support DARWIN EU® communications and stakeholder engagement
- Assist with day-to-day project and contract management tasks
- Maintain key project documentation including RAID logs, plans, and forecasts
- Track RWE activities and contribute to status reporting
- Coordinate project team activities and support key stakeholder meetings
What do we offer?A fulltime (40 hours per week), temporary job from 26-08-2025 until 28-02-2025 (assignment extention is possible)
Salary range:
- 4812,17 gross per month (5 years of experience)
- 5444,73 gross per month (5 - 15 years of experience)
- 6970,17 gross per month (15 years of experience or more)

What do we ask?Education:
- A level of education corresponding to completed university studies of at least three years, attested by a diploma.
Experience:
Up to 3 years of relevant professional experience, including:
- Coordinating and organising projects or initiatives
- Engaging with internal and external stakeholders
Skills & Knowledge:
- Project management experience and familiarity with frameworks
- Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills
- Ability to deliver quality results under deadlines
- Adaptable, collaborative, and solution-oriented mindset
