For the European Medicines Agency (EMA), we are looking for a Platform Analyst to support the maintenance and development of the Clinical Trials Information System (CTIS)!

What are you going to do?

Role summary


As a Platform Analyst, you will support the Platform Lead in the management, maintenance, and improvement of the CTIS platform, composed of a portfolio of applications in production. You will help oversee vendor delivery, track performance, coordinate releases, and ensure smooth contract execution. Working with contractors, suppliers, and internal stakeholders, you will contribute to knowledge management, operational support, and continuous improvement of the platform.


Standard role duties & responsibilities


  • Contribute to the development of EMA’s delivery methodology and continuous improvement.
  • Provide technical support to the Platform Lead, Project Management Specialists, and Programme Managers in planning, monitoring, and reporting.
  • Support business design, process improvement, and service governance within the related area.
  • Organise and coordinate project team activities to meet objectives within agreed time, resource, and budget constraints.
  • Assist in budget monitoring, ensuring resource plans and forecasts are accurate and up to date.
  • Organise and support meetings (agenda, logistics, minutes, summaries).
  • Coordinate quality compliance, documentation, and planning for maintenance and end-user support.
  • Support the monitoring of deliverables and their acceptance in line with contract provisions.
  • Draft and format project documentation in line with EMA standards and templates.


Role-specific duties


  • Support the Platform Lead in planning and executing work (bug fixes, improvements, release cycles).
  • Manage sprint/release planning and oversee scope management.
  • Track vendor performance against Service Quality Indicators (SQIs).
  • Provide administrative support for contract and vendor management (e.g., deliverable tracking, deadline monitoring).
  • Maintain knowledge base articles, release notes, and documentation of platform issues.
  • Partner with other Platform Leads/Analysts and EMA departments to manage interdependencies.
  • Ensure service delivery and coordinate resolution of major incidents.
  • Support effective communication between EMA and external suppliers/stakeholders.
What do we offer?

A fulltime (40 hours per week), temporary job from 3-11-2025 until 31-03-2026 (assignment extention is possible)


Salary range:


  • 4812,17 gross per month (5 years of experience)
  • 5444,73 gross per month (5 - 17 years of experience)
  • 6970,17 gross per month (17 years of experience or more)

What do we ask?

Education


  • Completed university studies of at least three years, attested by a diploma.


Experience


  • Up to 3 years of full-time relevant professional experience.
  • Experience coordinating and organising projects and/or initiatives.
  • Experience working with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Experience managing IT development projects using Agile methodologies.


Skills & Knowledge


  • Knowledge and practice of frameworks (at least one year).
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational skills.
  • Ability to cope with pressure, adapt, and work in a fast-paced environment.
