For the European Medicines Agency we are looking for a Planning & Reporting Officer in Strategic Planning & Budget office
What are you going to do?Role summary:
Support strategic and integrated planning, monitoring and reporting activities of the Agency. More specifically, the incumbent will play a key role in enhancing the Agency's controlling capabilities, with significant involvement in data management activities. The primary areas of focus will include improving Activity-Based Budgeting and reporting, as well as fostering the integration of various data sources. Additionally, the candidate will actively participate in data management and data visualization tasks. The candidate will be required to Understand, analyze and present data requirements in a visual, clear and structured manner, and translate business needs into scenarios, analytical approaches and solutions to impact on business processes and decision-making.
Standard role duties & responsibilities:
- Contribute to Agency’s planning cycle process including, activities, budget and resourcing in the context of multiannual perspective in line with the applicable rules and regulations;
- Support the ongoing development and implementation of strategic planning concepts and practice that will enable the organisation to realise its current and future strategic objectives;
- Coordinate preparation of interim reports (e.g., quarterly reports, management dashboards) and other supporting documents;
- Support the annual management review process;
- Support development, maintenance and reporting on key performance indicators;
- Support preparation of the Agency’s Annual Activity Report with regards to the work programme implementation;
- Organise meetings with the internal and external stakeholders, including preparation and handling meeting documents;
- Coordinate and contribute to financial and resource impact assessment;
- Drive the maintenance of master data in ERP system;
- Contribute to the intranet pages related to the Agency’s planning, monitoring and reporting activities;
- Ensure compliance with internal and external reporting requirements;
- Assist on internal and external audit requests from the Agency’s internal auditors as well as from the European Court of Auditors (CoA);
- Produce reports, statistical data and initial analysis of assigned activities to contribute to decision making processes within a required format and structure.

Salary range:
4,757.33 gross per month (5 years of experience)
5,382.68 gross per month (5 - 17 years of experience)
6,890.74 gross per month (17 years of experience or more)

What do we ask?Education:
- A level of education which corresponds to completed university studies of at least three years attested by a diploma;
Experience:
- Up to 3 years of relevant professional experience;
- In data management and maintenance of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Key Workload Indicators (KWIs) and reporting thereof;
- In delivering predictive analysis and scenario modelling to ensure alignment with organizational strategic objectives.
Skills & Knowledge:
- Knowledge in ITSM frameworks and/or international standards;
- Ability to see the bigger picture, to identify interrelations and dependencies;
- Proficiency in MS office suite with particular reference to excel.
Nice to have:
- Previous experience in corporate controlling activities
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in SAP ERP.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
- Good knowledge of PowerBi or Tableau or SAP BI or SAP Analytic Cloud
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
