Make a difference for Ukrainian refugees.

Would you like to make a daily impact in the lives of people in vulnerable situations? Are you precise, customer-oriented, and proactive? Then this position at the Immigration and Naturalisation Service (IND) in Utrecht may be the right fit for you.

Wat ga je doen?

As a Biometric Support Officer, you will work together with your colleagues to collect biometric data (such as fingerprints and passport photos) from Ukrainian clients. You will welcome people on-site in Utrecht, guide them through the process, and accurately process all data in the systems.

In addition, you will:

  • Check appointments and receive clients at the front desk
  • Work in a structured way on administrative tasks
  • Occasionally be scheduled to work in the evening or on Saturdays

Between September 2025 and February 2026, biometric data from 120,000 Ukrainian clients will need to be collected. A temporary, dedicated team is being assembled for this project — and you could be part of it.

  • 25 vacation days based on a 40-hour workweek
  • Pension accrual starting from your first working day
