Nike is looking for a Lead Merchant to take ownership of the Men’s Training Apparel category across EMEA. In this pivotal role, you’ll drive the seasonal assortment strategy from global handover to go-to-market, ensuring relevance, agility, and growth across the region. What are you going to do?If this is you, you will consequently execute the EMEA Men’s Training Apparel Merchandising Strategy on a seasonal basis. This includes, amongst others, a strong ability to manage the assortment (processes) end to end , have a point of view on segmentation, , meaningful account differentiation, and the ability to cultivate innovation that will help elevate Nike Men’s Training Apparel to the consumer.
- Lead the end-to-end CODE process for Men’s Training Apparel across EMEA, from global product handover through to seasonal go-to-market.
- Build and maintain the EMEA product line and assortment plan, grounded in marketplace capacity and consumer insights.
- Act quickly on emerging trends by adjusting assortments mid-season to stay relevant in a fast-paced environment.
- Share regular consumer and marketplace insights with the broader Men’s Consumer team and Global stakeholders to inform strategic decisions.
- Manage seasonal alignment from concept to execution, ensuring product and storytelling land effectively across the region.
- Take an active role in strategic project workstreams that contribute to the long-term growth of the Men’s Training Apparel business.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Planning, Brand, Digital, and Retail partners to deliver impactful assortments that serve the EMEA consumer.

What do we ask?
- Experience in (retail) merchandising and/or product creation demonstrating a high level of product, retail and merchandising acumen
- Strong administrative , system and proces management skills, preferably having some familiarity with existing Nike systems (mmx, av)
- Strong organizational skills with an ability to manage multiple workstreams , consolidate and/or amplify key insights and present this in a structred and compelling way.
- Strong teammate and ability to effectively collaborate with peers, cross functional partners and senior management on all aspects of the business within a complex matrix organizational set-up
- Experience with translating observations of trends, color, materials, and fashion into compelling product and assortment recommendations
- A clear understanding of the EMEA consumer and marketplace, and a great balance of art and science
- Ability to deliver results against tight and complex timelines with competing priorities
- Strong business orientation, analytical approach and retail math
