What are you going to do?As an Empty Handler Driver, you are responsible for transporting empty containers within our depot and assisting with loading and unloading. You will ensure that everything runs smoothly and safely, with a focus on both procedures and teamwork.
Your responsibilities:
- Operate the ECH for loading, unloading, and transporting empty containers.
- Monitor and maintain equipment for safe operation.
- Inspect containers for damage, cleanliness, and labeling.
- Coordinating with team members to prioritize container movements.
- Work accurately using a tablet.
- Optimize space by efficiently stacking containers.
- Report malfunctions and safety issues.
What do we offer?- Salary of €17.14 gross per hour without experience, which can increase to €19.47 gross per hour with experience;
- 14% surcharge for every hour worked;
- €0.23 mileage allowance;
- Two-shift system, Monday through Friday (5:45 AM - 2:00 PM / 1:45 PM - 10:00 PM);
- contract through Adecco;
- 8.33% holiday allowance and 25 vacation days (full-time);
- Pension accrual from your first day of work;

What do we ask?- Experience operating container handling equipment or similar machinery is required;
- Thorough knowledge of container handling procedures and safety protocols;
- Good command of Dutch and basic English;
- Physically capable of performing heavy work and working outdoors;
- Attention to detail and a strong focus on safety;
- VCA Basic certification or willingness to obtain one;
- A Certificate of Good Conduct (VOG) is required.
