We’re looking for an enthusiastic and detail-oriented Order Management Customer Care Specialist to join team at European Distribution Centrum in Bleiswijk. If you enjoy keeping everything running smoothly and ensuring that high-quality laboratory inventory reach customers on time, then this is the role for you! 

What are you going to do?


The Order Management Specialist is responsible for the administrative support of the outbound order flow in the European Distribution Center (EDC).  You’ll work closely with multiple teams, including Distribution Operations, Customer Care and Transportation. 

 

The primary focus is to ensure accurate and on-time delivery of orders within EMEA region while considering special Customer requests and country requirements (export documentation).

In addition, you are required to provide accurate logistics information to the commercial organization, to distributors and to the designated freight forwarders.

 

 

Your responsibilities:

  • Working closely with the respective Customer Care departments and Forwarders, to meet logistics expectations. 
  • Ensuring high level of customer service.
  • Monitor orders and allocate stock for timely shipments.
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure customer-specific needs are met.
  • Schedule shipments and prepare all required export documentation.
  • Communicate effectively with transport companies and suppliers.
  • Resolve issues related to order processing or delays.
  • Maintain accurate databases and track inventory levels.
  • Lead weekly meetings to stay on top of upcoming shipments.
  • Upload and assign all distribution/ carrier complaints within the EDC.
  •   Investigate complaints for Order management
  • Participate in the Command center calls where different departments within EMEA join to solve escalations.

What do we ask?
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle multiple tasks at once.
  • Clear communication in English (Dutch is a plus but not required).
  • A passion for problem-solving and delivering excellent service.
  •  Experience with logistics or order management (ideally 1-2 years).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, Access).
  • Knowledge of SAP/WMS/Oracle Database would be nice, but not requested
  • Knowledge of Microsoft office: Outlook, Access, Excel, Word
  •  SAP / WMS / Oracle Database (E1) knowledge preferred but not required.
  •  Full Time availability (Monday till Friday office hours)
