What are you going to do?Role summary:
We are seeking a motivated interim resource to support the advancement of EMA’s Financial Operations (FinOps) practice within the Information Management Division.
This position plays a key enabling role in implementing FinOps dashboards, facilitating collaboration across cloud platform teams, and assisting change management efforts to promote cost transparency, accountability, and value-driven cloud usage.
The ideal candidate will thrive in a collaborative environment, working with internal stakeholders and service providers to support the Agency’s cloud governance and financial stewardship objectives.
Role specific duties & responsibilities:
- Liaise with the Service Now Platform Manager and the external Service Now provider team to support the development, testing, and refinement of FinOps dashboards tailored to EMA’s operational and financial visibility needs.
- Collaborate with Platform Managers and technical leads responsible for deploying cloud workloads (AWS, Azure) to align tagging strategies, cost allocation approaches, and optimization recommendations across the organization.
- Contribute to the Change Management activities linked to FinOps rollout by supporting awareness campaigns, onboarding materials, and stakeholder engagement sessions.
- Maintain and update logs of cost optimization actions, ensuring traceability and visibility of improvements across services.
- Provide feedback to enhance the FinOps service offering and support maturity progression within the FinOps adoption lifecycle.
In particular, a Cloud Cost Management Coordinator will:
- Provide support in managing vendor relationships to ensure open communication and positive working relationships;
- Timely and transparent communication to / from Programme manager and stakeholders;
- Assist in the organisation of interactions with external stakeholders, service providers, as well as work across the department and the Agency to mobilize resources, capture operational data and contribute to the preparation and implementation of projects.

Salary range:
4,757.33 gross per month (5 years of experience)
5,382.68 gross per month (5 - 17 years of experience)
6,890.74 gross per month (17 years of experience or more)

What do we ask?Education:
- A level of education which corresponds to completed university studies of at least three years attested by a diploma;
Experience:
- Up to 3 years of full time relevant professional experience;
- In coordinating and organising projects and / or initiatives;
- In dealing with internal and external stakeholders.
- Familiarity with FinOps principles, particularly as defined by the FinOps Foundation or equivalent best practices.
- Experience with ServiceNow dashboards and reporting capabilities, ideally in the context of cloud cost management or ITSM/ITOM data..
Skills & Knowledge:
- Knowledge and practice of frameworks (at least one year)
- Ability to coordinate across technical and non-technical stakeholders in a structured, outcome-driven manner.
- Excellent communication skills to support change enablement and stakeholder buy-in.
- Basic knowledge of cloud cost drivers and tagging strategies in AWS and Azure.
