All-round Mechanic

As an All-round Mechanic, you are a key part of the team. You help keep our machines running smoothly 24/7. We work with advanced equipment and need someone who can handle both mechanical and electrical tasks.

Key responsibilities:

• You find and fix problems with machines and equipment;
• You do maintenance and repairs to avoid future issues;
• You analyse faults and help improve our systems;
• You work safely, follow rules, and keep clear records;
• You take part in projects to improve performance;
• You sometimes work on-call shifts (storingsdienst).

You will work in a 5-shift system, averaging 33.6 hours per week.

• Wage of €24 per hour or more (it depends on years of experience);

You will be working in one of the largest dairy companies in the world (producing milk, yogurt, cheese and many more). The company has branches in 30 countries and almost 20 000 employees worldwide. In our special cheese factory in Lutjewinkel, we mostly make the protected and award-winning North Holland Gouda cheese. This cheese can only be made in North Holland, using milk from North Holland, and following a special recipe. It often wins prizes in cheese competitions around the world and is known as a top-quality cheese. The factory runs 24/7 and uses modern technology. We are investing to improve our production even more. You will work with a team of skilled colleagues in a high-tech environment.

• You have finished MBO level 3 or 4 in Electrical Engineering or Mechatronics;
• You have at least 5 years of experience as a mechanic;
• You have experience in both mechanical and electrical work;
• Experience in the food industry is a plus;
• You know how to work with computer systems like SCADA, SAP, or Excel;
• You are independent and can work on your own after training;
• You are a problem-solver and can think of new ideas;
• You take responsibility and always work safely.
