All-round Mechanic

As an All-round Mechanic (day shift), you play an important role in keeping our factory running smoothly. You will work mostly during the day and sometimes do on-call shifts to help with urgent problems.

Key responsibilities:

• Find and fix problems in machines and equipment;
• Perform regular maintenance to prevent breakdowns;
• Analyse faults and suggest improvements;
• Work safely and follow all safety rules;
• Keep clear records of your work using SAP (or learn to use it);
• Help and advise your colleagues and work with planners and operators;
• Take part in projects to improve the factory.

Your working hours are usually from 7:45 to 16:15, with some flexibility. On-call duty happens about 4 times every 9 weeks.

• Wage of €23 - €26 per hour or more (it depends on years of experience);

The technical team has about 35 experts who work together closely. We use modern machines and systems, and safety and quality are very important to us.

• You have finished MBO level 4 in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Electrical Engineering;
• You have previous experience as a mechanic;
• You are good at solving problems and can work independently after training;
• You know how to work in a busy and complex factory;
• You can work some on-call shifts;
• Knowledge of SAP is a plus, but not required if you learn quickly;
• Dutch language skills are important; English is a bonus.
