In this role, you will collect and pack customer orders using hand scanners and an EPT (electric pallet truck). You will also ensure stock levels are maintained, from loose parts to complete orders, while strictly following applicable safety rules. This position offers an opportunity to develop your skills.


Packing: 

You carefully pack products, choosing the right box size and placing the right labels for shipment. 

● You make every effort to prepare packages for customers on time and in good condition.

● All work instructions related to the packing process are respected at all times. 


Order picking: 

You use an EPT to collect orders accurately according to the instructions on the scanner per location and do this without making mistakes. 

● Any discrepancies are always reported.

● Safety is key so it is important to follow order picking instructions constantly.


Project: 

● You will work on various projects to make the working environment safer, more efficient and effective.

 

You will work from Monday to Friday in two shifts from 06:00-14:00 and 14:00-22:00. It is a position for a longer period of time!

Waar ga je werken?

You will be working at Valeo, a manufacturer of car parts. Parts such as clutch plates, windshield wipers and ignition locks are transported throughout Europe from the location in Helmond.


The company is easy to reach by car and is located in the lively Eindhoven region. Parking is free. There is a good atmosphere within the company and fun activities are often organized, such as an annual family day. During your break you can enjoy free coffee, tea or soup.


Wat vragen wij?

To be considered for this position, you need to speak and understand excellent English. It is an advantage if you already have experience as an order picker using a hand scanner or EPT. Even if you have no experience as an order picker but are eager to learn, there still are definitely possibilities for this position!
