In this traineeship within a few years you will be trained as a Logistic Coordinator; you plan the supply of raw materials from internal- and external

(international) suppliers. You define the production plan to build stocks and deliver to the customers. You work in close collaboration with the production-, logistic- and

sales department and respond to their needs. This makes you a crucial link between these departments and the management in a dynamic, challenging, and demanding international organization. In addition, you participate in projects, investigate possibilities to work more

efficiently and you make proposals for improvement.

As a Logisitic Coordinator you:

  • Design the different planning strategies adapted to each type of demand and stock coverages
  • Define the Production Plan
  • Define the Purchasing Plan for raw materials
  • Supply planning with sales, suppliers, carriers and customers
  • Define internal and external storage needs
  • Follow and re-define if needed standardized procedures for the department
  • Participate in regular work meetings
  • Execute and control Logistics projects
  • Enter, collect, verify, register and encode production/logistical/commercial data in our system (SAP)
  • Support in the drawing up of operation budgets and production related calculations
  • See for the correct handling of the finished production orders
  • Identifying production risks

You work for a company that produces and sells tin packaging to national and international companies from the food, beverage, industrial and pharmaceutical sector. It is a very varied job where you lead the Technical Department and Production and where you have a important function within the company. It concerns a permanent job in dayshift through Recruitment & Selection.

Wat vragen wij?

Profile and skills You are graduated in a MBO4-level in the field of logistic, supply chain or customer service.


  • are available fulltime and you have experience in the field of logistics, supply chain or customer services.
  • have good communication and administrative skills.
  • have knowledge of MS Office (proficient Excel-user) and SAP have a good level of the Dutch and English language in word and writing. The German and Spanish languages are an advantage
