Do you have a passion for management and do logistics processes have no secrets for you? Then read on quickly! We are immediately looking for a team leader for a cool client in Rotterdam.

As a team leader you are responsible for directing and supervising the employees on the work floor. The division of tasks is one of your tasks. You are also accountable to the Warehouse Manager.

You will be working in the new warehouse at the Waalhaven in Rotterdam. Here you manage the employees every day, together with the team you ensure that the work is completed correctly at the end of the day.

To fulfill this dynamic role, we are looking for a motivated candidate who picks up processes quickly and who has the drive to take the team to a higher level. Customer-friendliness, experience with management and a flexible attitude are important in this position. Your priority lies with the execution of the work and following the processes within the warehouse.

On a daily basis, you are involved in directing and supervising the employees on the work floor.

Furthermore, it is essential that you master English language. You must be able to express yourself in this language orally and in writing. This is because the client employs employees who only speak English. You also have to deal with various customers from various countries.

The client is a logistics service provider that is active internationally. A new warehouse was recently opened, which means that there is a lot of work to be done. As a service provider, they take care of the development, storage, customs clearance and delivery of their own product.

The client has grown enormously in recent times and they aim to expand even further. The core of the culture revolves around hard work, taking responsibility and performance.

Wat vragen wij?

- A full-time job for 40 hours a week (hard requirement)

- A salary of €2200,- gross per month

- Working hours from 07:30 – 16:00

- Your salary deposited every Wednesday

- Chance of takeover

- 25 vacation days with full-time employment

As a team leader you have to have:

- Relevant work experience in the logistics sector

- 2 years of relevant work experience as a manager/cooperative foreman

- Flexible working attitude

- Prone to change

- MBO work and thinking level

- Forklift certificate and BHV are an advantage
