What does the role involve?

Being a Payroll Specialist within the German payroll team, you will play an integral role of ensuring timely monthly payroll processing from start to finish as well as year-end filing(s). You will provide support to our two Senior Payroll Specialists as well as to various other teams such as Local HR, Finance, Compensation, Store Managers and Benefits (e.g. medical plans, life insurance and disability plans etc.).

Wat vragen wij?

  • Working understanding of German payroll & related legislation.
  • 1.5 to 2 years’ relevant experience of working in a payroll environment and handling German payrolls.
  • A background in HR/Payroll operations is beneficial.
  • Microsoft Office, including Excel skills with the ability to learn additional programs as needed.
  • Experience with HR and Payroll specific systems such as SAP HCM, Workday or ADP Globalview is beneficial.
  • Experience with ServiceNow (HR Case Management) is beneficial.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Highly organized and efficient and can handle multiple demands and deadlines.
  • Excellent interpersonal and strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and German.
  • Able to build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Strong team player with the ability to be flexible, diligent, and dependable.
