What does the role involve?

We’re looking for a Merchandising Operations Coordinator (MOC) to join our dynamic and fast-paced Operations team based at Nike EHQ in the Netherlands.

MOCs are the operational engine which brings our product assortment to consumers across all Nike retail channels (Digital, Full Price stores, Value channels). This role is specifically focused on operational tasks enabling the categories to plan, buy and trade the seasonal product line.

This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is passionate about retail and Nike’s products to begin their career with Nike retail at a time of huge growth, in a role where they will gain insight into all areas of the retail organisation.

Our best MOCs are detail-oriented, able to adapt to new situations quickly, like to think outside the box, and can communicate well to a broad set of stakeholders across the business.

 

What will you be doing?

Each MOC supports a Category Squad that plans, buys and trades product across all Nike channels. You are their primary contact for all contract, product information and operational matters.

In a typical week you will be responsible for entering the product assortment for your category and channel into our systems and setting up product information (e.g. pricing or launch dates) to make sure data flows correctly into downstream systems. In a highly dynamic retail environment you continuously keep the assortment in our systems up-to-date.

You will be responsible for monitoring all systems and tools to ensure data accuracy. You’ll also have the opportunity to participate in the implementation of new system functionalities.

Wat vragen wij?

  • 2+ years of working experience in a retail or operations related field, or equivalent education.
  • The right mix of analytical skills, attention to detail, operational mindset and affinity with retail and sports.
  • Solid Excel knowledge. Ability to quickly pick up new systems would be of benefit.
  • Strong professional English-language communication skills, both written and oral
