What does the role involve?

As a Merchant, you will drive the process from line adoption down to in-season trade and be responsible for the Retail KPI’s to your respective area of the business. The goal of the function is to serve our consumers in the Value Stores across EMEA with an amazing product assortment, available where they shop, at the right time.

What will you be doing?

The priority of your work will be to build and land a seasonal, member-led assortment framework. Starting point will be the Value essentials (prior know as rebuys), in addition to that seasonal inline additions in partnership. Focus on key cities as well as our new retail format Unite. So in short – we are looking for Merchandising talent that is flexible, collaborative, has a clear understanding of the consumer needs and an eye for product, and loves to drive a smooth process.

If this is you, you will drive the strongest possible product assortment to serve our members in support of the overall strategy. For this we expect you to build a clear vision and understanding of our consumer mindsets plus our Unite strategy, and to land a detailed product assortment with strong focus on  commerciality, innovation, flow, price architecture, seasonality and productivity whilst managing our long term franchises. Your work will become the starting point for the Value marketplace where many customers have their first touch point with our brand. We are the affordable entry to make sport a daily habit. You will leverage our store results and consumer insights to identify opportunities to adapt business in season, trading the business in close collaboration with cross functional partners, as well as inform future line plans and product adoption.

  • At least 5 years total experience in (retail) merchandising and/or product creation demonstrating a high level of product, retail and merchandising acumen
