Merchandise Financial Planner

This position is for 40 hours per week and has been approved for a year. Contract via Adecco.


What does the role involve?

We are looking for you to lead reporting and analysis on country level on market place units visibility for Russia, Turkey and Israel. With your insights you will drive suggestions for inventory suggestions for local markets based upon merchandise financial plans and market performance.


What will you be doing?

You will serve as a connection to central merchandise financial planning, where you will follow the MFP process and updates. You will deliver essential information to drive inventory decisions.


Scope will include:

  • Following MFP process steps & analyses plan for multiple mpu’s for Russia, turkey and Israel on country level.
  • Present a marketplace view regarding sell-though and inventory kpi’s, present “best sellers” sell out per week, and weeks of inventory on country level.
  • Gather information from the MPU’s to feed the seasonal forecast process on country level, as well as the periodic reforecasting following MFP process steps.
  • Use the data to identify opportunities and risks to make recommendations regarding potential inventory positions on country or main accounts level.
  • Participate in the decision regarding liquidation of inventory sitting for a period of time in the local DC. 
  • Inform the decision making process on quantities & styles to be ordered, coordinating with the local MPU managers
