Marketplace Operations Specialist

The role is for 6 months with possibility of extension. You will work 40 hours per week.



What does the role involve?

The core objective of this role is to micromanage, in close collaboration with functional partners, Launch/Release product throughout the Supply Chain. Besides ensuring on time availability, one additional focus point of this role is to elevate current processes and tools to enable a more efficient and automated workflow.



What will you be doing?

  • Drive the reporting activities for the Category Coordination team supporting across territories, accounts and channels
  • Identify, monitor / meet and evaluate several category performance trends. Your focus category could be varying from all different categories
  • Engage with other departments like Demand Planning, Distribution, Sales to maximize efficiencies and operational activities.
  • Drive and coordinate order management activities required to achieve success for each category including Brand Initiatives, Launches and in-country campaigns.
  • Continuously look for improvements in reporting and in the operations of the team in order to achieve greater efficiency and visibility.
  • Top performers in this job have strong analytical capacities with communication skills.
  • Provide the Category stakeholders with analysis and advise on possible challenges, work X-Functional to make the Launch campaigns in store a success by making sure all details are known

Wat vragen wij?

  • At least a Bachelor degree in business, supply chain, industrial engineering or logistics
  • Several years relevant working experience in an Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Demand/Supply Planning, or Inventory Planning role
  • You will have experience working with MS Office including PowerPoint, Word, and advanced level Excel. An interest in Tableau and/or other data visualization tools is preferred. An understanding of SAP is beneficial but not essential
  • You are curious and inquisitive by nature, interested in the question behind the question and the root cause of problems. You are comfortable to use data to quantify problems, root causes and drive the right actions
  • With a customer first mindset, you will join us with a proven track record of putting the customer first and delivering superior customer service. You will also be able to demonstrate how you have understood and influenced customer values and customer behaviors
  • You’ll be able to demonstrate that you are an effective communicator with strong verbal and written communication skills in business English.
