The core objective of this role is to micromanage - in close collaboration with functional partners – the Launch/Release product throughout the Supply Chain. Beside ensuring on time availability one additional focus point of this role is to elevate current processes & tools to enable a more efficient & automated workflow.  


This position is for 6 months and 40 hours per week. Start date, beginning of May.


What does the role involve? 

  • Support and drive the successful Gender/Sports Marketing (SM)/Neighborhood (NBHD) launch, release, seasonal key styles' execution into the market by initiating all required process steps end to end through cross functional teamwork 
  • Drive end to end service excellence by optimizing supply against demand in support of coverage metrics, working closely together with goods flow planning, demand supply management, merchandising and MPO Marketplace Unit (MPU) teams 
  • Drive alignment with the SM/NBHD teams (in partnership with Pre-Season and Gender Managers) to define the right operating/communication model in hyper care for Promo and NBHD products 
  • Support in the core team of Pre-Season Manager and Business Analyst to bridge the ONEOPS mindset / operating model with European Logistics Center/First mile (specifically from SM/NBHD POV) 
  • Drive the reporting activities supporting EMEA across MPUs, Nike Direct, and Digital partners 
  • Engage with other departments like Demand Planning, Supply and Inventory Planning, Distribution to maximize efficiencies and operational activities. 
  • Be the valued partner within Cross-functional Gender teams – representing MPO voice at the Integrated Business Attack (IBA) table 
  • Provide key stakeholders with analysis and advise on possible challenges, work X-Functional to make the Launch campaigns in store a success by making sure all details are known 
  • Drive and coordinate order management activities required to achieve success for each of the focus areas including Brand Initiatives, Launches and in-country campaigns. 
  • Continuously look for improvements in reporting and in the operations of the team in order to achieve greater efficiency and visibility.

  • At least a bachelor’s degree in business, supply chain, industrial engineering, logistics or a similar subject 
  • Several years relevant working experience in an Operations, Supply Chain, Logistics, Demand/Supply Planning, or Inventory Planning role 
  • You will have experience working with MS Office including PowerPoint, Word, and advanced level Excel. An interest in Tableau and/or other data visualization tools is preferred. An understanding of SAP and Cognos is beneficial but not essential 
  • You are curious and inquisitive by nature, interested in the question behind the question and the root cause of problems. You are comfortable to use data to quantify problems, root causes and drive the right actions 
  • With a customer first mindset, you will join us with a proven track record of putting the customer first and delivering superior customer service. You will also be able to demonstrate how you have understood and influenced customer values and customer behaviors 
  • You’ll be able to demonstrate that you are an effective communicator with strong verbal and written communication skills in Business English.
