For a small, but innovative organization within the agrarian environment we are looking for a Laboratory Manager. Do you love biological or veterinarian sciences and are you full time available? If so, continue reading!   


What will you be doing?

The Laboratory Manager is responsible for the daily management of the team of laboratory technicians which consists of 12 people. The jobs also includes support and technical laboratory work of sex sorting and processing of bovine semen. You will have the operational responsibility for all activities in the laboratory, located at Deventer, the Netherlands.


Other tasks will be: 

  • Managing the team of Laboratory Technicians and Assistant Manager
  • Technical reporting
  • Sex sorting and processing of bovine semen
    • assuring of high quality
    • preparing, freezing and quality control 
    • control and repair of cell sorters and other laboratory equipment 
    • prevention of and fix errors
  • Detection of inefficiency and act to improve efficiency
  • Work according to the quality, health and safety protocols demanded by Sexing Technologies 
  • All other tasks for the continuous operation of the laboratory

 

You will be reporting directly to the Director of Sexing Technologies in Europe. Other contact will be with employees, colleague managers and production centers.
