What will be your main tasks and responsibilities

- Provides helpdesk support to all company community following IT policies and procedures

- Respond and resolve IT requests and queries logged via the IT Support Help Desk in accordance with the priorities

- Support, configure, maintain, and troubleshoot PCs, printers, VC, and other IT assets.

- Ensures that all administration within IT and around IT-activities is managed properly and in a timely manner

- Ensures that the IT environment of the company is compliant to relevant quality standards

- Per company’s internet policy, monitors internet, intranet, and email to prevent misbehavior and unethical usage

- Responsible for system security, software updates, and change control

- Responsible for asset and knowledge inventory management

- Communicates with vendors and third-party IT service providers

Where will you work?

Part of the Global IT team, the IT Associate is an on-site all-around IT Professional providing day-to-day end-user support and is based in the Amsterdam office. In this position, you are responsible for managing the company’s IT assets, including servers, workstations, network equipment, mobile phones, and IT related assets, such as video conferencing systems. You ensure that all IT services are maintained to a high standard and provide day to day support to all end users as required. You manage the company’s IT helpdesk and resolve user issues, you consult for best solutions, and oversee data management processes. You investigate and diagnose possible network problems and make recommendations for improving the company’s IT systems.



Wat vragen wij?

You have:

- BS in Computer Sciences, IS, or Engineering or Equivalent Work Experience (at least 2 years)

Experience with:

- Windows Operating SystemsMicrosoft suites such as; Office 365, Outlook, Teams, SharePoint

- Mobile platforms; iOS & Android

File permissions

Virtual Private Network (VPN) clients

Windows Deployment Server / MS Deployment tool

Laptops build and imaging


Desired but not required:

Microsoft Active Directory

Cisco phones, network devices, and firewalls

SQL and Access

- Reliable, consistent, and proactive

- Ability to address multiple projects and adapt to changing priorities

- Team-oriented and generous in sharing knowledge and enabling others

- Self-motivated and passionate to learn and adopt new technology and methodologies

- Customer Service oriented with attention to detail and quality

- Strong technical background from within the IT industry with exposure to a wide range of (new) technologies

- Technical familiarity with general IT systems from desktop to hosting, networks, communications

- Experience in resolving multi-disciplinary or multifunctional/process problems

- Ability to manage own workload

- Capable of day-to-day problem solving and taking responsibility for decisions

- Proficient in Dutch and English, both oral and written
