We are looking for a Global Benefits Manager who can start asap. The role is for 40 hours per week, with a contract for 1 year and a possibility of extension.


What does the role involve?

We need a Global Benefits Manager who will support the management of benefits programs focused on EMEA region (25+ countries). This role will be part of the Benefits COE team and located at Nike’s European Headquarters in Hilversum, NL. The Global Benefits Manager will be responsible for benefits strategy, design and financial governance and will support the Global Benefits leadership team in corporate transaction initiatives such as divestitures, mergers & acquisitions, and expansion to new locations.


  • You will use benefits expertise and strong financial acumen to manage all types of benefits programs (retirement plans, leaves and time off, allowances, insurances etc.).
  • Evaluate design considerations and ensure it aligns with Nike’s global benefits strategy.
  • Participate in contract negotiations and arrangement of financial provisions of benefit plans.
  • You will maintain strong partner relationships internally and externally. 
  • Keep current on the evolving regulatory landscape and ensure all programs and policies are compliant.
  • Stay up to date on market trends, business challenges, and priorities by gathering competitive market data and networking with industry peers.

You will function as a key member of the global benefits COE team reporting directly to the Director, EMEA and Asia Global Benefits. Work closely with the regional (EMEA, Americas) Global Benefits Managers on benefit programs management as well as end to end implementation of new programs or changes to existing ones. You will also work with different other teams (e.g. HR operations, employment legal, finance, procurement etc.)

Wat vragen wij?

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, HR, Finance or related field. Experience in lieu of degree may be considered for candidates meeting all the other requirements.
  • 5+ years of well-developed experience in EMEA/global benefits programs and specifically with strategy & design.
  • Strong organizational, project management, analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Advanced communication & interpersonal skills.
  • Demonstrable experience navigating internal stakeholders, cross-functional team interactions, and managing vendors.
  • Experience in a professional business environment working for a large matrix multi-national company.
  • Ability to work flexibly with varied and multiple cultures, countries, regulatory, and market environments.
  •  Experience managing or working on corporate transactions, mergers & acquisitions is preferred.
  • Ability to travel, occasionally, including internationally (less than 5%).
