We’re looking for an experienced DEI Project Manager. The role is for 6 months with a possibility of extension for 40 hours per week.

 

What does the role involve?

[Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) is a strategic priority for Nike Inc. Our DEI work spans many areas of the business, teams and organizational culture. Our Global DEI strategy defines our scope and EMEA DEI Plan lays the foundation to grow our work across Nike Inc and in the region. In this crucial phase we want to ensure the broad scope of DEI work is charted while we engage in key projects, develop new initiaves and research areas of focus in the DEI pipeline.

 

This role is focused on project execution, identifying and planning pipeline DEI work. The project manager will also plan new work and implementation frameworks for pipeline iniatives and pilots. DEI has an educational aspect both in learning and discussions and the project manager would be at ease speaking on related subjects and compiling material relevant to learning. The project manager will also lend time to the NikeUnited Networks (ERG’s) in project capacity.

 

The candidate will be a strong collaborator and organizer. You will have demonstrated project management experience, strong interpersonal, planning and rollout skills and an advanced understanding of DEI in the business.

 

Core Responsibilities

Based at European Headquarters in Hiversum, you’ll be working alongside the DEI Director EMEA on key projects, assist with prepararing work for new initiatives, on areas for development and research aligned with the strategy and regional scope Europe, Middle East and Africa, a region which you have an understanding and affinity with.

Success in this role will be end to end project management and ongoing matricing of key areas of DEI development and research. We strive as a team to consolidate all the initiaves under DEI for Nike EMEA be transparent and accountable in how we lead the change and deepen the culture of belonging. 

 

Who you will work with

This is the Nike matrix: Together with the DEI Director you will work on the EMEA DEI Plan and build close relationships with various teammates and units in the business. You will work closely with Talent Acquistion, Human Resources, Analytics, Nike United and External partners. You will work closely with DEI communications as developing material for internal circulation and education. You have the ability to see the big picture in terms of overarching strategy and align projects accordingly, draft reports and recommendations.
