Depending on your qualifications your responsibilities may comprise:

  • The organization, execution and reporting of experiments and departmental activities under the supervision of responsible project leader. You organize and conduct (sub) projects involving the development and/or transfer of new or improved existing products, production processes or laboratory methods and techniques;
  • Conducting immunological (elisa, flow cytometry), cell biological (culture, transfection) and biochemical (protein expression and analysis) laboratorial techniques;
  • Development of new in vitro or in vivo test methods (expression analysis, functional assays);
  • Maintaining contacts with other departments involved (e.g. process development-, quality-, animal research- and R&D departments);
  • Running experiments and aspects of department procedures according to GLP and SHE compliance requirements;
  • Interacting closely with fellow scientists from your own and other departments. If required with external collaboration partners in consultation with the direct manager;
  • The job is 40 hours a week and you work from 08.30 till 17.00.

Wat vragen wij?

  • A Bachelor or Master degree in life sciences with experience in the subject area;
  • Experience in laboratory techniques associated with the areas of molecular and cellular biology, immunology and biochemistry;
  • Experience with and proactive approach to GLP and SHE requirements;
  • Experience with coordination of in vivo studies is a pré;
  • An adequate level of English (written and spoken) is essential.
