What are you going to do?

As a logistics employee you will be working fulltime in an energetic and motivated team. A challenging job with lots of variety, in which you play a major logistical role in the production process. You load and unload trucks and containers through the use of a forklift. You check the goods that come in, label them, and put them in designated spots in the warehouse. This keeps the stocks in order. Registering these actions will also be required. This means that next to your regular logistic role, you will also be partly responsible for inventory management / stock control.


Finally, you make sure each package is ready for transport: you put an address sticker on the box, you make sure a packing slip is included, listing the contents of the package. And you make sure the paperwork is in order.


Furthermore, a large part of your responsibility will also be to arrange everything in the ‘vault’. The production here works with financial documents and information, which they store in the vault. The vault is a tight space with enough room for two people to move around. You’ll be handling the internal transport to and from this location through use of electrical pallet jacks and stackers. This means you need to be okay with working in closed spaces.


In this job, you will be working in two shifts. For the first months you will be payed for two shifts, but only work in the early shift (due to your training). This is related to the training you'll receive. The working hours are: 05:00 - 13:30 and 13:00 - 21:30.

Our client is part of a solid international company and is located in Breda. They produce credit- and debit cards, and contactless payment cards. Furthermore they also focus on payment and ID verification and provide contact to financial institutions.

 

You are going to work in a dynamic, motivated, and professional environment within an informal team of 30 colleagues with different nationalities. There is a close and valuable collaboration with all of the workers.


Wat vragen wij?

You are the logistics employee we are looking for if you:

  • are ready for responsibility:
  • are available to work in two shifts;
  • speak the English language well;
  • have knowledge of inventory management or stock control;
  • are okay with administrative tasks;
  • have a good ‘number sense;
  • are able to work in a small and enclosed working environment for a few hours on daily basis.

Also, if you have experience working with a forklift (or have a certificate) than this would boost your chances. If not, than this will be thought on the job, and you’ll receive your certificate through the company. Moreover; if you understand the 5S principle this would further improve the odds.

 

What we offer?

  • Base salary of € 13,63, with shift allowance of 17%. Makes a gross salary of € 15,95;
  • Yearly performance reviews which may result in a 6% salary increase;
  • If not yet in your possession, a forklift certificate is provided by the employer;
  • Upon proven suitability a contract with the client;
