We have presented our Corporate Social Responsibility - CSR Report 2010 which was submitted on July 20, 2011 to the UN Global Compact as our Communication on Progress (CoP) for the whole of the Adecco Group.
The CSR Report is built upon our three strategic areas of 'Excellence', 'Integration' and 'Skills', profiling our Global Programmes - the Excellence Awards, the IOC and the IPC Athlete Career Programme and Win4Youth as well as select country programmes and initiatives.
Additionally, we are - for the first time - reporting along the ISO 26000 which gives guidance to organizations on how to operate in a socially responsible manner.
And we have stepped-up our environmental reporting (read more under 'Excellence') together with CSR and Procurement responsibles in ten of our major countries including Headquarters, to measure our Carbon Footprint. This topic is becoming increasingly important for many of our stakeholders such as clients and investors.
Our CSR Report 2010 is based as always on the GRI (Global Reporting Initiative) G3/G3.1 Guidelines and has an application level B, GRI-checked certificate. This means that we are covering at least 20 performance indicators on economic, environ-mental, human rights, labour, society and product responsibility.
